Habitat for Humanity believes that everyone should have a safe, decent, affordable place to live. Habitat volunteers build houses worldwide for homeless people, people living in slums, and areas affected by natural disasters. Habitat believes that housing strengthens safety, dignity, and educational and job opportunities.
National Coalition for the Homeless The National Coalition for the Homeless works to bring about the systemic changes necessary to prevent and end homelessness and to protect the rights of people experiencing homelessness by engaging in policy advocacy. Our advocacy includes work in the areas of, housing justice, health care justice, economic justice, and civil rights.
