Directions to brookline high schoolBy Car:
From Boston: From Huntington Avenue, driving West (outbound), pass underneath the Jamaicaway (also called Riverway) overpass. Huntington becomes Route 9 (Boylston Street). Continue West for about ½ mile. Turn right onto Cypress Street (there's a gas station on the right and a car dealership on the left side of Route 9 at this intersection; if you are coming from the West, turn left onto Cypress). Drive 2 blocks then turn left at the light onto Davis Street. Look for parking. Brookline High School is straight ahead at the end of the field. If you are driving, please arrange for a parking permit in advance. You can pick up the permit in the main office, as you enter the school--you will need to return to your car to place the permit. By MBTA: From Park Street station, take the Green D line towards Riverside station. Exit at Brookline Hills station (one station after Brookline Village). Exit the T and turn left onto Tappan street (the street right in front of you). Walk one block to the end of the field (on your right). The high school is directly in front of you. |
Directions within the schoolTo Room 346 (Mr. Grande's classroom):
Enter the building on Greenough Street--use the center entrance that leads into an atrium. The main office is immediately to the right; check in there for an ID sticker and ask for assistance to reach 346 or ask that they call Mr. Grande to meet you at the office. You can take the elevator on the left side of the atrium, just past the glass display case and just before the Qin Warrior statue, to the 3rd floor. The building is arranged in a square around a quadrangle; you are across the quad from rm. 346 as you disembark the elevator. Take a left, then an immediate left; right at the end of the hallway, then right at the end of the next hallway. Look for rm. 346 on your right side, half way down this hallway. To the Roberts/Dubbs auditorium: Enter the building through the main (center) entrance on Greenough Street. Proceed through atrium and take the staircase up to the second floor. Turn left and walk to the end of the hallway, then turn right and walk 2/3 of the way down. The Auditorium is on the left. To the MLK room: Enter the building through the main (center) entrance on Greenough Street. Proceed through atrium and continue straight to the back of the building. Enter the MLK room. To the Social Studies Office, Room 393: Enter the building through the main (center) entrance on Greenough Street. Proceed through atrium and continue straight to the back of the building. Before ascending the stairs between the two statues, turn left to the elevator and take it to the 3rd floor. Exit elevator left, turn right onto main hallway, then turn left about 25 feet ahead. The office is straight ahead from there. Directions to Town HallBrookline Town Hall, where some of our trainings are held, is located at: 333 Washington Street, Brookline MA. The entranceway is across Washington Street from the Brookline Municipal Credit Union, and near the police station. It is the only tall building in the immediate vicinity (white, six stories). There is metered street parking and in a lot surrounding the building. There is also free underground parking next door, underneath the library.
