Dudley Square and Chinatown Toxic Tours
Environmental Justice is the idea that neighborhoods that are disproportionately non-white and/or low income suffer from pollution, toxic exposure and environmental degradation more than wealthy and whiter neighborhoods. We'll visit Dudley Square and be led by an community organizer from ACE on a "Toxic Tour" who will help us understand why some communities are more vulnerable than others, and how structural discrimination ultimately impacts the environment of all of us.
